The light will be shipped with a protective packing to prevent any bulb or socket damage during transit. We have installed the 4 Philips head screws onto the light cover to hold it in place during transit. You will need to remove these in order to get to the bulb.

To make sure the bulb has not been damaged during transit, please plug it into your electrical outlet, once you have removed the packing. Make sure the bulb is secured into the socket as it might have loosened during transit.

This Fluorex bulb will take a full minute or longer to reach its full power and will appear to only light partially when first started. This is normal.
